Live for Now. Why did it take me 30 years to understand & fully love my current life? I am not upset that it took me 30 years, I am embracing this moment. I am so Grateful for all of the good in my life. I am grateful to be living my current life. I love the people I am surrounded by, my friends & family. I love my healthy dogs & Fiancé. Simplicity is key. I am so thankful & grateful for everyone and everything in my life. Live in the now. The right now. Be grateful for all that you have.
I love to go fishing on the daily. & I always like to have my hair & makeup done for any fish pics. I am currently experimenting with some fresh, clean, no-makeup makeup looks. With that being said, I like to create fun, easy hairstyles which coincide with the relaxed, outdoor look.
As you all know, I love to Pinterest- so, I have created a top 10 Hairstyle list for the great outdoors of fishing & camping.

My sister & I went on a mini camping vacay & invested in sun hats on our trip & it was one of the best, cutest ideas we could have had. We were super cute & we were shaded the whole day.
I currently have the Bass Box. Every month it is filled with several lures, a magazine, stickers, & a chance to win more fishing gear. This box includes: 2 hard baits, 2 packs of soft plastics, 1 pack of hooks, stickers, a magazine and a $5 Tackle Warehouse coupon. All in this box contains approx. $25 worth of baits. It is worth every penny and more.

Sometimes, I wish we could go back to the times of no cell phones & social media. Even flip phones were annoying distractions of multiple texts and phone calls throughout the day.
I have realized more lately than ever before the phone consumption around me. Daily conversations are brought up with mentions of Facebook & Instagram. When I try to talk about my day it seems that people around me tune out and are more interested to know what is going to refresh on their news feed.
I want to explore & grow. And I myself have become consumed with text, calls, apps, etc. I look through Pinterest to gain new ways & ideas to become motivated and productive for the day. As I scroll, I hop from one subject to the next and become lost with hours passing by.
I would like to cut my time back from my phone. I started a list of tasks to do daily to become more productive. Fingers crossed. 🤞
“It takes 21 days to create a habit, it takes 90 days to create a lifestyle”
I hope that I can become more involved with my loved ones around me. Become more engaged and live for the Now. 💕
Our Church is updating its decor to be more country-like. I looked into a few projects & came across a wood Pallet sign that I loved.
& I thought, “God, where can I get some pallets for this project?!?” A few days later on my way to work, there were a pile of pallets out by the curb. Hallelujah.
Oh yea, this is much easier & less sweaty. I buffed out the knots & little splinters.
I lined up the boards & glued them together. Careful, this stuff is powerful. I let it dry overnight 🌙
This is free-hand but it turned out really well.
About 10 days ago, I started my seedlings indoors. Mind you, I live in Central Ny & Miss Stella ❄️ (the biggest snow storm since 1993) had passed through this week. So, it has been pretty chilly. I have been watering daily & today, I discovered 5 little sweet corn seedlings have popped through. Yay!! 🌽
I have been saving egg cartons for a few weeks now. They are great containers to start seeds in because they are easy to transplant outside and they absorb the water. I save some egg shells as well- to spread around the garden to keep slugs away. 🐌
As of today , I have planted:
- Pumpkins 🎃
- Corn 🌽
- Cucumbers 🥒
- Carrots 🥕
- Watermelon 🍉
I am going to add:
- Tomatoes 🍅
- Peppers 🌶
Hopefully our Apple tree blooms again this year.
And an added bonus is the grub the garden draws in. When I am tilling the garden patch, I will be sure to pluck some worms for fishing. 🎣
Here in Central Ny, we have accumulated quite a bit of snow. About 30″ within 16 hours 😳
I’m waiting for a phone call from work to see if I am needed. However, it may take me a few hours to un-bury my vehicle.
Pray for me that they call me off from work (fingers crossed) 🤞
Stay safe everyone! ❄️
