6 Reasons to go Fall Camping

If you haven’t been to the Adirondacks for its everlasting beauty of changing leaves, I suggest you pick a date soon to explore the great outdoors. From late September til mid October, Upstate NY is an ombre of bright red & orange leaves throughout the wide valleys & mountains. This  not only is beautiful in sight, but the temperature is a perfect 70 degrees with a light breeze.

If you couldn’t guess it, the #1 reason to camp up north is… the Foilage. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‚ Breathtaking photos are never ending when visiting the ADK.

#2: Less Crowded  The State Parks & Local campgrounds are less crowded because the children are back in school. So, you are just sharing grounds with retirees and campground members.

#3: Cooler Weather  With the shorter days and cooler nights, a comfy sweater and wooly socks are just right. & with chillier nights, the stars are sure to shine. Look up!

#4: Less Bugs ๐Ÿœ Again, the colder temps are pushing the bugs away. & some are dying off. No more pesky bees flying around your campfire food.

#5: Discounted Camping Pricesโ›บ๏ธ Uusually the campgrounds will have cheaper prices going into the winter months, because it is their off season. & some locals will drop the firewood prices to get their yards cleaned up.

#6: The Bass are Biting ๐ŸŽฃ With winter approaching, fish feel the need to fatten up for the hibernating season too. So, plan one of your fire cooked meals to be a fish dinner. ๐ŸŸ

With Fall fast approaching, be sure to make a day trip to get a glimpse of its true ADK beauty. BTW, October 17th is National take a hike day ๐ŸŒฒ๐ŸŒฒ๐ŸŒฒ
